Venum Elite versus standard boxing gloves
The main difference lies in the construction and finish. The Venum Elite is fully handmade in Thailand, whereas many standard boxing gloves are machine-produced. The handcrafted work gives you reinforced seams and a more precisely finished product. The triple foam padding offers more protection than the standard double-layer padding in basic gloves. The extra mesh panel provides better ventilation during long training sessions, which you often miss in entry-level models.
Note: the size in oz (ounces) indicates the weight of the glove, not the size of your hand. For the right size, use the size guide and measure the circumference of your hand. Some athletes order multiple sizes to try on at home, but the size guide already provides reliable guidance based on your hand measurement and body weight. The glove size you choose also depends on the purpose: lighter weights (8-10 oz) for bag work, heavier (14-16 oz) for sparring.

Are the Venum Elite gloves suitable for beginners?

When is shipping free?
In the Netherlands and Belgium from an order amount of €100. In Germany, other EU countries, the United Kingdom and Norway from €150. Collection in Groningen is always free. To Switzerland and countries outside Europe, shipping is never free, but the rate does decrease with a higher order amount. Punching bags and puzzle mats are excluded from free shipping.
Can I choose the carrier myself?
In the Netherlands and Belgium you choose between PostNL and GLS at checkout. In Belgium you can also have your order delivered to a PostNL collection point. In other countries we select the carrier that delivers fastest and most reliably for each shipment (PostNL, DHL or GLS).
What is premium home delivery with insurance?
An additional option for the Netherlands and Belgium: your shipment is processed with priority and is insured during transport. Netherlands €9.95 (up to €100) or €3.95 (from €100), Belgium €12.95 (up to €100) or €3.95 (from €100).
What if my parcel is delayed?
First check the track & trace; sometimes a shipment is delivered later in the day or the next working day. If the status remains stuck, email us with your order number. We'll contact the carrier immediately.
I've entered the wrong address, what now?
Email us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. As long as the order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll change it. If the shipment is already on its way, we'll try to have it changed via the carrier.

How to measure your hand circumference?
Use a flexible measuring tape around your hand just below the knuckles (excluding the thumb and without bandages). Measure snugly but not tightly.
Are you in doubt between two sizes? Choose based on hand circumference (more important than weight).
Do you usually wear bandages? If you are on the border, choose the larger oz size.
For technical sparring sessions or sensitive sparring partners: 16 & 18 oz.
Pay attention to brand and series: some models are more compact or roomier – check the product description.
