Material and construction

The belt is made from high-quality fabric with multiple inner layers, a traditional BJJ belt construction that ensures durability and longevity. The stitches are even and strong, so the belt retains its shape and appearance even after hundreds of trainings. The black end (rank bar) is reinforced so it doesn't fray or lose colour over time, an important detail when tracking your progress with white stripes or graduation stripes.

Fit and tying

The belt has the right flexibility to wrap smoothly around the waist and tie securely, while still maintaining its shape between trainings. It feels comfortable against the gi and doesn't slip away during grappling, which is essential for focus and confidence on the mat.

Size guide

The Hayabusa Jiu Jitsu Band is available in six sizes, aligned with the standard BJJ A sizing of your gi:

• A0 – belt length approximately 240 cm
• A1 – belt length approximately 260 cm
• A2 – belt length approximately 280 cm
• A3 – belt length approximately 300 cm
• A4 – belt length approximately 320 cm
• A5 – belt length approximately 340 cm

General guideline: choose the belt size that matches your gi size (A0 gi gets an A0 belt, and so on). This ensures that the belt has enough length to hang neatly after tying, without being too long.

For whom?

The Hayabusa Jiu Jitsu Band is suitable for beginners, intermediate and experienced BJJ practitioners. Beginners who have just purchased their first gi will find a reliable belt to start their grappling journey with. Care

Wash the belt occasionally in cold water, preferably in a wash bag, and hang it to dry. Avoid high temperatures and the tumble dryer to prevent shrinkage and colour fading. A traditional BJJ superstition says a belt shouldn't be washed often, but from a hygiene perspective regular washing is recommended, especially if you roll frequently and the belt comes into regular contact with the mat.

Important

The belt is supplied without rank stripes. The awarding of a higher colour or the addition of stripes (graduations) is done by your BJJ instructor according to the traditions of the sport. Don't rush this process – you earn your belt on the mat.

All products are immediately available

Orders that are immediately available and placed before 5:00 PM will be shipped the same day (Monday to Friday) from our warehouse and picked up by PostNL or DHL. You will receive a track & trace code the same day to follow your package. PostNL or DHL delivers the order the next day to the location of your choice in the Netherlands and Belgium. 

If you place an order for which all products are immediately available on Friday after 5:00 PM, Saturday or Sunday, we will ship it on Monday. In this case you will receive your order on Tuesday.

One or more products have a delivery time

In addition to our stock that is immediately available, we also have external stock. These products have a delivery time of 1 to 10 working days. This delivery time is indicated for each product in the availability. If you place an order with multiple products of which one or more products has a longer delivery time, this delivery time applies to the entire order. 

Punching bags & puzzle mats

Punching bags, puzzle mats and packages with different dimensions or weight are sent with an external courier service. This courier service works just like DHL with a tracking code to track your order. The delivery time for this is 1 to 2 working days.

Different delivery times apply for orders outside the Netherlands and Belgium. Via the track & trace code you will find current information regarding the delivery time of your package.
