Venum Contender 3.0 BJJ Gi – Men's Kimono
The Venum Contender 3.0 BJJ Gi is the third generation in the popular Contender series. This gi offers an excellent balance between comfort, durability, and a sharp price-quality ratio. Perfect for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners looking for a reliable kimono for regular training sessions.
The jacket is made from 100% Pearl Weave 380 gsm cotton and is designed with reinforced seams at all key stress points for extra strength. The collar features soft EVA foam padding, making you more resistant to your opponent's grips and allowing you to more effectively counter their attacks.
The trousers are made from pre-shrunk 9 oz cotton and have extra reinforcements on the inside of the legs and at the ankle cuffs. This ensures long-lasting performance, even during intense rolls.
Make a statement on the mat with the large Venum logo prominently placed across the back of the jacket. The Contender 3.0 is the ideal training partner. Let’s roll.

Do you have questions about the delivery of your order? First look carefully at the delivery time of your product. Below you will find an overview of the different products and delivery times.
All products are immediately available
Orders that are immediately available and placed before 5:00 PM will be shipped the same day (Monday to Friday) from our warehouse and picked up by PostNL or DHL. You will receive a track & trace code the same day to follow your package. PostNL or DHL delivers the order the next day to the location of your choice in the Netherlands and Belgium.
If you place an order for which all products are immediately available on Friday after 5:00 PM, Saturday or Sunday, we will ship it on Monday. In this case you will receive your order on Tuesday.
One or more products have a delivery time
In addition to our stock that is immediately available, we also have external stock. These products have a delivery time of 1 to 10 working days. This delivery time is indicated for each product in the availability. If you place an order with multiple products of which one or more products has a longer delivery time, this delivery time applies to the entire order.
Punching bags & puzzle mats
Punching bags, puzzle mats and packages with different dimensions or weight are sent with an external courier service. This courier service works just like DHL with a tracking code to track your order. The delivery time for this is 1 to 2 working days.
Different delivery times apply for orders outside the Netherlands and Belgium. Via the track & trace code you will find current information regarding the delivery time of your package.

Use the size chart below to easily choose the right BJJ gi size. The chart is based on body height and arm length. Please allow for slight shrinkage after the first few washes (approximately 2–3% at 30°C).

Tip: Between sizes? Choose based on your height and build : if you have a broader chest or shoulders, choose the larger size. For competitions, the gi can be a bit tighter, while for training, a little more room to move is more comfortable.
How do I measure my size?
- Body height: measure from crown to heel, without shoes.
- Arm length: measure from shoulder to wrist with your arm slightly bent.
- It is best to measure in sportswear for a realistic fit.
- Wash cold (max. 30°C) and air dry to prevent further shrinkage.
