Usage

The Hayabusa Ankle Guards are exceptionally versatile and suitable for MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, grappling, and general martial arts training. They provide support during explosive movements, kicks, and pivots, and protect the skin during prolonged contact with the mat during ground work. Also ideal as preventive support for athletes with sensitive or previously injured ankles, or as an extra layer under shin guards for added comfort.

Material and Fit

The ankle guards are made from an elastic, breathable fabric that fits snugly around the ankle without restricting blood circulation. The compression helps stabilize the joint and reduces swelling after intense workouts. Thanks to their seamless construction, they stay comfortably in place, even during long sessions.

Size Guide

The Hayabusa Ankle Guards are available in four sizes. Choose based on your shoe size:

• Small – shoe size approximately EU 36–39
• Medium – shoe size approx. EU 39–42
• Large – shoe size approximately EU 42–45
• X-Large – shoe size approximately EU 45 and larger

If you’re unsure between two sizes and have muscular calves or wide ankles, choose the larger size for extra comfort.

Who are they for?

These ankle guards are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and experienced fighters. Beginners appreciate the simple protection against mat burns and blisters, while intermediate and competitive fighters use them as preventive support for their ankles during intense training sessions. They’re also popular among recreational athletes who train without boxing shoes and want to provide their feet with extra protection.

Care

The ankle guards are easy to clean: wash them at a low temperature in a laundry bag and let them air dry. Avoid using the dryer to preserve the fabric’s elasticity. For hygiene reasons, returns on this item are not accepted.

Due to hygiene reasons, these ankle supports cannot be returned. Therefore, please check the size chart carefully beforehand to select the correct size.

All products are immediately available

Orders that are immediately available and placed before 5:00 PM will be shipped the same day (Monday to Friday) from our warehouse and picked up by PostNL or DHL. You will receive a track & trace code the same day to follow your package. PostNL or DHL delivers the order the next day to the location of your choice in the Netherlands and Belgium. 

If you place an order for which all products are immediately available on Friday after 5:00 PM, Saturday or Sunday, we will ship it on Monday. In this case you will receive your order on Tuesday.

One or more products have a delivery time

In addition to our stock that is immediately available, we also have external stock. These products have a delivery time of 1 to 10 working days. This delivery time is indicated for each product in the availability. If you place an order with multiple products of which one or more products has a longer delivery time, this delivery time applies to the entire order. 

Punching bags & puzzle mats

Punching bags, puzzle mats and packages with different dimensions or weight are sent with an external courier service. This courier service works just like DHL with a tracking code to track your order. The delivery time for this is 1 to 2 working days.

Different delivery times apply for orders outside the Netherlands and Belgium. Via the track & trace code you will find current information regarding the delivery time of your package.
