The full-length boardshort cut provides extra coverage over the thighs, which many fighters find comfortable during mat work and grappling. Thanks to the side slits, you maintain full range of motion for high kicks, takedowns, and guard positions.

Material and Construction

The main fabric is made from 240 GSM, 100% polyester, a heavyweight weave known for its high tear resistance. The inner thigh panels are made of 88% polyester and 12% spandex, providing targeted stretch exactly where you need it, such as during guard positions, takedowns, and high kicks. The reinforced flatlock seams prevent skin irritation and provide extra durability in the areas of the pants that are subject to the most wear and tear.

Locked-in Fit

The most distinctive feature of the Apex shorts is the closure system. The silicone-lined waistband subtly grips the rash guard or skin to prevent shifting, which is crucial during rolling and grappling. The interlocking front closure, combined with the double drawstrings, gives you a competition-ready, custom-fit that stays secure during intense sessions. The Apex Full-Length Fight Shorts are available in five sizes. Use the guide below based on your waist size:

• Small – waist size approximately 71–76 cm
• Medium – waist size approximately 76–84 cm
• Large – waist size approx. 84–91 cm
• X-Large – waist size approx. 91–99 cm
• 2X-Large – waist size approximately 99–107 cm

The Apex has an athletic fit—not too tight and not too loose. If you’re unsure between two sizes, choose the larger size if you have muscular thighs or prefer a slightly looser fit.

Differences from other Apex models

The Apex line is available in different lengths to suit every fighter’s preference:

• Mid-Thigh – short cut, maximum leg mobility, ideal for grappling
• 3/4 Thigh – medium cut, balance between mobility and coverage
• Full-Length – classic board short cut for full coverage

All Apex models share the same premium construction, silicone waistband, and laser-cut ventilation. The difference lies purely in the length and coverage.

Care

The Apex shorts are easy to care for. They’re machine washable and can be tumble dried—no fuss. Wash on cold with like colors to keep the color and print looking fresh for a long time. Avoid bleach and wash the shorts inside out to protect the silicone waistband and prints.

All products are immediately available

Orders that are immediately available and placed before 5:00 PM will be shipped the same day (Monday to Friday) from our warehouse and picked up by PostNL or DHL. You will receive a track & trace code the same day to follow your package. PostNL or DHL delivers the order the next day to the location of your choice in the Netherlands and Belgium. 

If you place an order for which all products are immediately available on Friday after 5:00 PM, Saturday or Sunday, we will ship it on Monday. In this case you will receive your order on Tuesday.

One or more products have a delivery time

In addition to our stock that is immediately available, we also have external stock. These products have a delivery time of 1 to 10 working days. This delivery time is indicated for each product in the availability. If you place an order with multiple products of which one or more products has a longer delivery time, this delivery time applies to the entire order. 

Punching bags & puzzle mats

Punching bags, puzzle mats and packages with different dimensions or weight are sent with an external courier service. This courier service works just like DHL with a tracking code to track your order. The delivery time for this is 1 to 2 working days.

Different delivery times apply for orders outside the Netherlands and Belgium. Via the track & trace code you will find current information regarding the delivery time of your package.
