UFC 322 is about to take place and as we're used to from the UFC, they save the best fights for last.
Because not only is the main event one for the history books, but the rest of the card also has multiple fights that are guaranteed to deliver fireworks.
Main event: Jack Della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev (Welterweight)
This is the matchup everyone has been talking about for months.
Jack Della Maddalena is the newly crowned Welterweight champion, after winning the title in May earlier this year. Jack is undefeated in 18 fights, with 12 wins by knockout, 8 of them in the first round.
So you can safely say that Della Maddalena is a dangerous fighter… regardless of who stands across from him.
On the other side stands the man who may be about to make history: Islam Makhachev.
The former Lightweight champion from Dagestan is known for his ruthless, suffocating wrestling style. Once he has you, he doesn't let go.
But he is more than just an iron-strong wrestler. Islam is world-class in every aspect and perhaps the most complete fighter currently competing in the UFC.
If he manages to defeat Della Maddalena, he will go down in the history books as one of the greatest MMA fighters in the history of the sport.
But the question is… will he pull it off?
Islam has no easy challenge in Jack and many people are betting on a knockout win for the champion.
Whichever fighter you prefer and whoever may win, one thing is certain: This is one of the best matchups of the year.
