Glory 96: Champ VS Champ

Serdar Tufan |

This weekend it's time for Glory again and there's a cracking main and co-main event on the programme.

Kwasi VS. Beztati

Chico Kwasi defends his welterweight title against lightweight champion Tyjani Beztati.

Beztati moved up to welterweight last July, where he took on former champion Endy Semeleer and won in a hugely tactical bout.

The win has earned him a chance at a second title, but the unorthodox Kwasi could easily throw a spanner in the works.

Chico Kwasi is taller than the fighters Beztati normally faces, has powerful punches, and a unique style. This makes him incredibly difficult to prepare for.

Beztati, on the other hand, has been a tremendous champion for years and often seems to win very easily against his opponents.

I can't say for sure who'll win this match. But whoever wins, it's guaranteed to be a great match.

Wisse VS. Brown

The co-main event features none other than the hugely dominant Donovan Wisse.

Wisse is defending his middleweight title against Sergej Braun. The German has won only one of his last three bouts, and this honestly feels like a mismatch against Wisse.

Wisse is incredibly technical, strong, and intelligent, and he applies just as much pressure in the first minute of the match as he does in the last. I don't expect Wisse to have too many problems this match, but you never know.

You can watch the prelims for free on YouTube from 6pm, and the main event can be seen on Videoland from 8pm.
